The recording, "Deep", is just that. A long indepth look at life so far for Elisabeth Williamson. A collector and performer of songs for over thirty years in the Florida folk scene, her own songwriting endeavors began in 2006 with the award-winning autobiographically-inspired tune, "Florida Cracker Girl." Since then, she has worked with her husband, Lon, to bring the river of songs that followed to light in this recording. Though a "solo" songwriting project, it most certainly was not something accomplished single-handedly. Husband Lon, recording engineer and co-producer, joins her on upright bass along with a cast of collaborative luminaries including Gabriel Valla, Todd Lombardo, Robert Bowlin, Jason Thomas, Suzanne Lansford, David Johnson, Josh Pinkham, Kurt Johnston and Martha Bush. The tunes cover a variety of styles from jazz and swing to bluegrass and oldtime inspirations.
